Iain joined Chambers in 1997, having previously worked in local government since 1990.

He was the Head of the Planning and Litigation team at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead before returning to independent practice. Whilst at the Royal Borough, Iain promoted the Local Plan Inquiry (1995-1996) and acted for the Council in numerous inquiries (including major public inquiries).

Since joining Chambers, Iain has developed a practice with embraces all aspects of planning, compulsory purchase, housing, landlord and tenant, homelessness and wider aspects of local government.
