Naveen is a very experienced CEDR and ADR Group accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator. He has mediated more than 190 cases since 2002 and can assist parties with property disputes that involve issues relating to business and finance (chancery). He is listed in the top-tier of mediators by the Bar Council and is an experienced advocate for parties at arbitration.

Housing

Naveen has over 15 years’ experience of representing local authorities and social landlords across London and the south of England. His practice includes the full spectrum of housing related matters and appearances in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.

Finance & Procurement

Naveen advises banking institutions and commercial lenders on issues relating to investment and development. This includes conventional transactions (acquisitions, lease backs, management buy outs, refurbishments) and those required to be Sharia (Islamic finance) compliant.

Real Property

Naveen is well versed in matters involving: leasehold enfranchisement; rent review; mortgages and charges; easements and boundaries; restrictive covenants; land registration and adverse possession; options; equitable proprietary remedies; co-ownership and trusts of land; property related professional negligence and insolvency.

He assists parties in the FtT (Property Chamber), UT (Lands Chamber) and the TCC (part of the Business and Property Court of the High Court of Justice).

Naveen has been accepting direct instructions since 2006.
