Rayan joined Chambers in 2017 and has a general housing, property and public law practice. She is keen to continue to develop her practice in all areas of Chambers’ work.
She also has experience in commercial litigation and accepts instructions from claimants and defendants in matters pertaining to contract disputes.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Rayan interned at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva and assisted in an amicus curiae brief in the UK Court of Appeal as well as drafting various policy papers. Rayan also worked at international law firm Steptoe & Johnson on two multi-million pound (ICSID) investment treaty arbitrations against the Republic of Zimbabwe.
